The Samsung Galaxy S22 Will Blow You Away

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is an even more powerful version of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It has a similar design, with a metal frame and glass back for wireless charging. The 6.4-inch AMOLED screen is sharper than ever, and you can use it as a TV remote with Samsung’s new SmartThings app from your phone or watch (if you have one). The 21MP rear camera is great for low-light shots, and the front camera comes with an AI-powered beauty mode to smooth out your skin without having to edit yourself after taking photos—which I think we all know saves time and energy!

Design

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is slightly taller, wider and thicker than its predecessor. It’s also a bit heavier at 180g (6.35oz), but it does have more features to justify the extra weight. It has a larger screen which means that it can fit more on its display without having to zoom in or scroll around as much as you would need to with other smartphones in this range.

The phone is available in four colors: black, blue, red and white. The choice of colors depends on where you live; they may be different depending on where you buy your phone from!

Display

The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.7-inch screen with a QHD+ resolution and an AMOLED display. It has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, which means it’s longer and narrower than most phones that have similar screensizes.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra supports 10-bit HDR content, so you’ll be able to watch Netflix shows in HDR without any issues.

Performance

The Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset keeps things running smoothly, so you can play games and videos without any lag. The phone also has an impressive battery life, lasting up to two days on a single charge.

Cameras

The Galaxy S22 Ultra has two rear cameras that are both capable of shooting in 4K. This means you can capture images with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, making them perfect for sharing on social media or displaying at large sizes. The main 16MP camera has an f1.8 aperture and a dual-pixel autofocus system, which is designed to quickly focus on your subject even when moving quickly or when the lighting conditions are poor.

The front 12MP camera is also pretty impressive with its f2.2 aperture and wide angle lens allowing you to take group selfies easily while still maintaining some level of detail in the background.

Battery Life

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is equipped with a 3000mAh battery that can deliver up to 15 hours of talk time, up to 10 hours of video playback, up to 10 hours of web browsing and as much as 20 hours of music. The device also boasts an impressive standby time of 30 days on a single charge.

Memory & Processor

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has an 8GB RAM and a 2.2GHz octa-core CPU with a Mali-G76 MP12 GPU. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card in a hybrid SIM slot.

Biometric Security

As a member of the S series, the Galaxy S22 Ultra includes Samsung’s Biometric Security feature. This means that you can unlock your phone using your fingerprint, face or iris scanner. If you want to get more advanced with it and use voice recognition, then go ahead! You won’t be disappointed as it unlocks quickly and easily every time.

Other Features

  • Samsung Pay. Samsung Pay is an easy and secure way to make payments with your phone. Just load it up with your credit or debit card information, then use it to pay for purchases in-store or online.
  • Bixby. Bixby helps you get things done quicker and easier by learning how you interact with your phone over time, including what apps you use frequently and when, what tasks you find most helpful on each app, as well as the way that words are spelled across all of your apps. You can even teach Bixby new features—like the ability to order coffee from Starbucks—with a single tap!
  • Face Unlock. With just a glance at their phone screen, owners can quickly unlock their device using Face Unlock—no fingerprint required!

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is even more powerful than the Galaxy S21 Ultra, particularly in the camera department.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is packed with features. It has a lot of power, great battery life, and its camera takes some of the best shots I’ve seen on any phone. The S22 Ultra comes in at $500 for the 128GB model and $600 for the 512GB version; if you’re looking for something similar but cheaper then there are other phones from Samsung that might be better suited to your needs.

Conclusion

The Samsung Galaxy S22 is a great smartphone. It’s easy to use and has some nice features that make it stand out from other devices in its price range. If you like what you see here, then check out our full review of the Galaxy S22 Ultra and see if this might be the device for you!
